Video
Video conferencing enables school districts to connect with the outside world without having to leave the classroom. This opens up the door to possibilities that may not have been possible otherwise for rural districts. Imagine the places students can travel and the educational opportunities that districts could provide.
Participants could experience variety of adventures and access to educational opportunities through video including going on a virtual field trip to exciting places, such as state parks, connecting with classrooms across the world, and even learning another language.
One goal for participants in the RUS grants is to learn how to use video to enhance educational opportunities. Trainings will be offered through the NESC to show educators how to connect to these opportunities to make the most out of distance learning. The video trainings will be updated on our Web site.
For questions on video opportunities available, please contact Melissa Cox at 218-748-7609.
