Adequate Yearly Progress
This grant contract with the Minnesota Department of Education provides federal funding to the Service cooperative for the purpose of school improvement technical assistance to Title I districts and schools not making AYP, as specified by the legislative requirements of No Child Left Behind. This method of support provides Minnesota with a statewide system of intensive and sustained support for districts and schools. The program:

• Supports identified districts and schools as they analyze and triangulate data.
• Supports identified districts and schools as they build internal capacity through district and school level teams and develop professional learning communities that will support the goals of their improvement plan.
• Provides high quality staff development opportunities for identified districts and schools to support the implementation of their continuous improvement plan.
