Division of School Improvement
Division of School Improvement Through this program technical assistance and staff development opportunities are offered to area districts. The program offers support to districts and schools as they analyze and triangulate data; build internal capacity as districts and schools develop professional learning communities; assist in the process of curriculum alignment to the Minnesota State Standards, and provide site-specific professional development in a variety of topics. We also offer a variety of professional development workshops for teachers and administrators.
For further information contact Kathy Sterk, Director of School Improvement at ksterk@nesc.k12.mn.us or by calling 218-748-7627. Other programs under this division include the AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) and MSTA (Math and Science Teacher Academy).
