Knowledge Master Open
The Knowledge Master Open is fun. It's challenging. It's a national academic competition that lets your students strut their mental muscles without the travel.
Based on an analysis of the curriculum objectives of schools throughout the nation, questions go beyond rote learning and test both application and analysis of information.
Teams compete in divisions - high school, junior high, middles school, 5th and 6th grade - and, depending on the division, attempt 100 or 200 interdisciplinary curriculum-based questions.
It takes quick thinking. And teamwork. Many questions are written as puzzles, taking several steps to arrive at the answer. And like all team sports, students learn to work together to reach their goal. They might even be surprised at what they know!
