Young Authors / Young Artists Conference

The Young Authors / Young Artists Conference promotes student enthusiasm and competence in written and graphic communication while encouraging students to have fun.

Through interaction with established authors, storytellers, illustrators, journalists and teachers, students are encouraged and inspired as they discover their creative abilities to express their thoughts and become effective communicators.

Target Corporation has a strong tradition of giving back to the communities where they do business. Since opening its doors, Target has given 5 percent of its income to organizations that support education, the arts, social services and volunteerism. Today that translates to more than $3 million every week.

“At Target, our local grants are making a difference in the communities we serve,” said Laysha Ward, vice president, community relations, Target. “We’re proud to partner with the Northeast Service Cooperative as part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the communities where our guests and team members live and work.”

Thank you, Target,  for your support of this conference!
